I deal with similar hardware on a regular basis and it's why I focus keeping everything I maintain and depend on accessible to the poorer half of the world that megacorps seek to exploit. Given the increasing frequencies of large disasters in the world with people losing their homes to fires, flood, war, etc... it's prudent for us to embrace minimalism and decentralization to ensure our survival.
