I've got another box waiting to go into production that is going to be a dedicated DB server, so I should be able to get some more numbers. For tests such as a mass-check with bayes turned on, the SQL based storage took about 3 times longer to complete. However, put into practice of calling spamc on a whole bunch of messages I saw a mild increase in speed, again single CPU box with untuned MySQL server. It's just time and resources at this point to see how well it will perform. Anyone have a good test harness for testing performance of a particular setup?
