------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2004-08-26 08:55 ------- Running spamd as a root daemon, again: % spamd -d -c Interesting tidbits from syslog: Aug 26 17:47:11 my.host spamd[29226]: Cannot open bayes databases /home/me/ .spamassassin/bayes_* R/W: lock failed: File exists So bayes db's aren't updated, a locking mechanism fails, and spamd's scans then take a very, very long time. In fact, everything seems to be taking suspiciously long ("identified spam (19.4/5.0) for ... in 449.2 seconds", "clean message (0.0/5.0) for ... in 690.0 seconds"). It's erratic, though; there are also quite a few relatively quick (i.e. a few seconds) scans. Note that spamd's setuids succeed just fine. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee.
