Disclaimer - I'm a bit of a newbie on this stuff myself, so this may or may not be helpful.

It looks to me like you're calling SA through amavisd-new. Amavisd has its own config file that handles rewriting subjects and tags - I'm really not sure what happens when you only edit the SpamAssassin one, but I'm pretty sure that as far as changing anything in the message, amavisd doesn't let SpamAssassin do it.

Check your settings in /etc/amavisd.conf - you may find what you're looking for there.

Hello, here is a mail i just tested with. This scores 6.0 and I have the treshold to 5.0. Spamassasin should have added ****SPAM*** to this mail. Look at attached txt file.
