What we do is set up a rule on their Exchange mailbox to place a copy of all
incoming email in an Archive subfolder of their inbox. Their POP3 client
downloads-and-deletes their Inbox copy, but the Archive copy is untouched.
Then we periodically archive the Archive subfolder to .pst and save them. This
way if their workstation crashes we can restore their mail from the .psts.
Perhaps it would work to have them log in to a webmail interface when they get
spam. They could copy the spam from the Archive folder to the SPAM public
folder via webmail.
