I'm sorry, I think the best option is to call Spamnix.
I don't want to be harsh, but answering questions about unknown products
is a huge time sink (for many reasons) and I'd be surprised if any open
source project is eager to answer questions about closed products. I
have nothing against commercial versions of SpamAssassin (after all, I
helped create one in a previous job), but it's not practical.

I only sent a mail to this list because the core of Spamnix is spamassassin and FORGED_MUA_IMS is obviously a spamassassin rule:-

header __UNUSABLE_MSGID eval:check_messageid_not_usable()
header __IMS_MUA X-Mailer =~ /Internet Mail Service/
header __IMS_MSGID MESSAGEID =~ /^<[A-F\d]{36,[EMAIL PROTECTED]>$/m
meta FORGED_MUA_IMS (__IMS_MUA && !__IMS_MSGID && !__UNUSABLE_MSGID)
describe FORGED_MUA_IMS Forged mail pretending to be from IMS

I had hoped that someone who is cognizant of the various iterations of
spamassassin might have instantly recognised that a FP FORGED_MUA_IMS is
from a specific spamassassin version which I could then relate to the party
who is asking me to fix our systems so that their Spamnix filter doesn't
trap our mail as spam.

If this is a time sink I'm sorry - I put a disclaimer at the start of my
message that was meant to head your response off at the pass - maybe it
was not phrased correctly. I am fishing in the hope that a knowledgable
spamassassin expert may have come across this in the past and can offer
a simple explanation. I don't expect Spamnix configuration help. I thought
that the people who subscribed to this list knew all things spamassassin.

Thanks.
