The faq page is filled with technical info of little use to
non-technical people.
I'm outraged at this lack of sensitivity and ignorance since all users
of are not technical people. Furthermore, you want voluntary
contributions which I have made on several occasions.
So, what must I do now. I guess suffer without the help of Spambayes.

Ted,
There are two things repeatedly mentioned on this list with the Outlook
toolbar on recent versions of Windows. As Skip mentioned, you must
install in a location other than the default; C:\spambayes is usually
recommended. The other thing is that the Spambayes toolbar will not
work in a 64-bit version of Outlook; it must be 32-bit. Being a dormant
project, if you have met these criteria and it still does not work, then
there are no further options other than to search Google's archives for
a solution, use Spambayes POP3 proxy instead, or find an alternative
software.
Best of luck,
Dale
