Sorry, I lack context information. dmesg and Xorg.0.log would perhaps help me understand, as well as an explanation of what you meand be "console text gets munged booting 6.0-current". Is it during boot that the text gets munged ? Is it only text in X that is munged ? Do you launch xdm from rc.local.conf ? Do you have the radeon firmware package installed ? -- Matthieu Herrb
