Good morning.
Under Linux/SPARC, the X servers are not of the XFree86 project but
actually Sun X servers, correct? As such, there is no XF86Config file to
configure, one just runs startx or whatever... (I say this so that I can
be corrected if wrong and to form a base for my question)
Is it possible to have a virtual desktop in X? That was one of my favorite
features of XFree86 on my 486, and I would like to do the same if possible
on my SPARC LX... (I do not yet have the 1MEG VSIMM so I only have 1MEG of
video memory). Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'd also be
interested in how to change resolutions, so that I can have a nice real
desktop:virtual desktop combination.
Thanks.
