Hi, I just picked up a Sparcstation 1 from somewhere for free. I know
it is pretty much a boat anchor but I still wanted to play around with
it. Anyways, when I try to install Redhat 5.1 or 6.0 it gives me an
error something to the sort of "IDPROM Unknown" or something like that.
Is what I am trying impossible? If not what could be the cause of this
problem? Also I have tried to install Solaris 1.1 and Solaris 2.4 and
when trying to boot to those CD's It says that "the file is not
bootable" Im not real sure on installing Solaris so maybe someone will
have some tips for me there?
