Using the OLVWM window manager from the Xview RPMs at ftp://step.polymtl.ca/pub/Xview/, I get a defunct process every time an X application exits (currently at 190 zombies against 58 running, after 29 days uptime). This happens under RHL 5.2 and 6.0, but I don't see it with the same package under the Intel releases. When I logout of my session, the processes all vanish. The same problem does not occur under GNOME for the root account. Any ideas?
