Does anyone know, if CheerIO spec was ever made available to Linux
developers? CheerIO has ISA DMA engine in it that is not compatible
with Intel 8237. A clever Sun engineer used it to support CS4231 on
Krups. Uh-oh.

Click on PCIO under "Chipsets and Logic"
CS4231 already has support for PCIO DMA engine, on Ultra
systems it is on EBUS.
