Hi Just thought I would give an update for those who may be trying it It was a stand alone spectrum server with report manager and oneclick on the same box
The process followed was 1: backup the DB - SSDB, DDM and Report MAnager (always do this before any change anyway) 2: Stop the SSDB and DDM 3: Stop processd 4: change the Ip address 5: we bounced the server anyway as it was windows 6: let it start up Worked perfectly fine - again it was a simple install so very few issues But no hassles with licenses or anything like that On Thu, Aug 28, 2008 at 9:17 AM, Garry Harst <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Well still looking at either plan > > Trying to work out if it is easier to just change the IP address (after > full backup - disk imaging to allow roll back quickly) and clean up the > mess or go with a "save the db, reinstall a new spectroserver, reload the > db" type operation as you succinctly put it. > > With this also trying to find out if moving the mysql Report Manager DB is > a simple process or if thats going to be painful too.
