Hello Pablo,
Thank you for the reply. We are using Spectrum version 8.1 SP2. Can you please elaborate on the manual manipulation you are mentioning? Any idea what can be done in 8.1 to prevent these alarms from occurring? Once every while we get the below alarm on some of the routers. The alarms seem to get generated without any apparent cause. Device model ( name - Router-a, type - Rtr_Cisco ) has a network address ( X.X.X.65 ) that differs from the Primary Address ( X.X.X.67 ). The CHECK_GEN_ALARMS attribute for this model is "true". The router in question has a physical IP (X.X.X.65) and an HSRP IP(X.X.X.67 ) configured. Naturally the model is configured as per the Physical IP. Any ideas why the alarm is getting created and how to resolve this?
