How many global collections are most people using in Spectrum, and is there a recommendation as an upper limit on that number, given that they are for the most part dynamic collections?
We are thinking about undertaking a Spectrum re-organization project which essentially mean the addition about a significant number of Global collections (potentially around 1000, or 5 per building on campus). We would then remove the global collections view from most people's permissions and just give them the Hierarchical view of the global collections to make it manageable. I'm concerned that this may be too many for Spectrum to easily handle, and I was wondering if anyone else had any experience with large numbers of collections.
