Hi Jon,

Thank you for your reply.

But the main question is: will they be able to see only a specific set of
equipment? Or the whole thing?

I want a group of users to be able to see only a specific set of equipment
and not the whole interface.

Many thanks for your help.

Sincerely.

You can use Global Collections to accomplish this along with utilizing the
security string for the collection and giving it to the user/group

Subject: [spectrum] Operator access with different views

Hi list,

I want to create different views of CA's Spectrum interface each containing
specific equipment to monitor.

The plan is to give different departments in my company operator access to
see their own equipment only, without being able to view another
departments' equipment, also without being able to acknowledge alarms.

Has anyone done something similar on their setup? I appreciate any suggested
ideas.

Thanks in advance.
