One solution could be to "Hide" these alarms in Console. ID for this Alarm type is 10519, search for this and move to Hide portion of window in Alarm Filter. You could create a Filter and export to all your users.
Thank you - Ali

Subject: RE: [spectrum] DUPLICATE MAC WITH DIFFERENT IP DETECTED
Hi Bruno, List
I don't know if anyone has provided a solution for you on this. Other than
disabling the alarm globally through the ECE, I am unaware of a method of
disabling this alert on a per device basis. If anyone else has a solution I
would be interested also. Frequently we have virtual systems also throwing off
this alarm.
Thanks
Patrick

Subject: [spectrum] DUPLICATE MAC WITH DIFFERENT IP DETECTED
Hello All
I have physical solaris server discovered, on those servers are virtual
(solaris server) installed. Now all the servers physical and virtual has
different IP addresses but the same MAC address. After the discovery I receive
the message (DUPLICATE MAC WITH DIFFERENT IP DETECTED), it is possible to
suppress the message because this is not a failure?
Thanks
All the best
Bruno
