Saludos, Glad to hear someone else wanting the same. My reasoning behind this ability is to cut down on the number of email alerts we receive for a down/degraded/etc. application (Service). As we move into using Service Manager more, my hope is to cut down on the alerts sent out.
Right now I have a SANM Policy & filter implemented that only generates an email alert for the top level Service. The problem is the email alerts for the Service only say the Service is critical/major/minor and it notes that the alarm was caused by a related resource. It does not give details on the condition of the related resource. Is there anyone on this listserv that is using Service Manager extensively?
