I use global collections and policies. Even if I havent adressed the same issue
as you, I guess you could do the same. The parameters you mention are
attributes on each device model? If so, then you can set policies that all
devices in a certain global domain should set the attribute to a value specific
value. Then you could move your devices into correct global collections to set
the corrrect attributes.

Ämne: [spectrum] Spectrum 9.2 Configuration Manager Question

Greetings all,

I have a question regarding the logical grouping of devices in Configuration
Manager. I understand that by default the device models are grouped by Device
Family Types, where you can define the TFTP account (username/password) you
want Spectrum to use. Is there any other way to group devices?

The reason I ask is we have a distributed Spectrum environment monitoring
server customer networks, and not all customer networks use the same TFTP
credentials. Therefore we have a need to define more than one TFTP account per
Device Family. Or perhaps a better method would be to define a TFTP account
per individual device model; does anyone know if that is possible?

Kind Regards,

Brad
