Hi,

As far as I know, ping, telnet, ssh and poll are launched from SpectroServer.
If you want to create menu items to launch traceroute or nslookup, you
need to modify your OneClick config xml files. In this case,
applications are execute in your OneClick client.

It's not trivial to execute applications in the SpectroServer side. I
can think of two possibilities:

a) execute a script to telnet/SSH to your SpectroServer and simulate a
traceroute/nslookup.

b) create a piece of code to use SpectroServer APIs... but not sure
you can achieve your goal this way. In order to launch telnet/SSH/ping
through SpectroServer, CA uses daemons/proxy running in the server
side (like telnetd).

I hope this can help.

Best Regards.
James.
