Hi, I can't remember where I read that Spectrum uses not only IfIndex, but also IfDescription and/or IfAlias in order to identify interfaces. I think that depending on the interface type (ethernet, serial...), Spectrum follows different strategy for identify interfaces. But this is a hard code implementation and you can do nothing about that.
