Hi Spectrumites, In the lab we're trying out converting postemsg calls to use the probe instead. We're using v2.2.1 of the probe. Don't think we'll have any easy task - there are a lot of filters we have at the Notifier level, but we're leaving that for another day yet. Couple of things we're curious of if there is anyone who has this running. 1) Are you installing the probe local to the SS? We were trying to install it remotely, but it looks like we would need to maintain all of the EvFormat/PCause files remotely as well. Any other considerations with installing the probe locally or remotely? Traffic? 2) In the logs, we are also seeing a lot of alarms that are coming in with only the alarm ID and most other info missing (eg, no severity is sent). It looks like these are either update or clears to the events. With the AlarmNotifier - we can see the variables from this event (I think it's configured in .alarmrc). Should we just discard updates, or is there something we're missing to get this information? Thanks, .....rod Distributed Network Configuration Management | RBC Royal Bank
