Hi,

Indeed, to my mind Global Collection is the best way to achieve it. You could
even use the Modeling Gateway to do this with a XML file. It’s even easier to
maintain! ;) And why not writing a small script to create the XML file to
import with the Modeling Gateway with updates (addition and deletion of
devices) regularly…

Good luck!

also, you can auto-create GC from your device_list, or auto-create device_list
from your GC.

you can do it from CLI

Hi all,

I have a question, where I don't know, if this is possible in spectrum.
I have a lot of devices in spectrum (about 20000), but for a specific
customer I need a view, where only about 100 devices should be visible.
I have a list of these devices, can I create a new view, which includes
only these devices.
If possible I want maintain this in a text file, and create the view, if
a devices would change the name or the ip-address.

Best Regards
Berthold
