Hello,

This has probably already been addressed, and if so, apologies.

We are having a bit of trouble getting NCM (Network Configuration Manager)
to pull a startup config from a Cisco PIX ASA-5540 device we have.
Spectrum reads it in as a
model type of CiscoRT (and a name of "Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance
Version 8.0(4)"). After working with CA a bit, they helped establish that
this device (although out for some time) is not on the list of supported
devices. So I have been trying to modify one of the Perl scripts provided
via OneClick for devices that *are* supported to work with this device.
What we want is pretty simple: (a) ssh login; (b) switch to enable mode;
(c) enter enable password; (d) get startup config. I have managed to adapt
one of those scripts so that it works at the prompt, typing in the five
arguments that Spectrum would send, and returning just the config in
stdout. But the script bombs when I use it in OneClick.

It would be great if CA provided an NCM script repository, but they seem
not to. I believe that there is one on the Spectrum wiki hosted in
Switzerland, but the site seems to have been down for at least a week.

Does anyone have any scripting suggestions / repository ideas?

Thanks!

Daniel C.
