We worked issues like this (inconsistent or missing SRM data) for more than a year as ticket 19572807-1. I'm happy to say that we received several fixes for different aspects of the problem, the last of which was delivered in H04. I don't know how many of those fixes were backported to 9.1, but you should ask support about our ticket number.
