eHealth does not have dynamic groups, unlike Spectrum. You'll need to maintain group membership using rules and scripts. It is relatively easy to add devices to a single group using a Spectrum global collection and an eHealth Policy, but to add a system to multiple groups requires extra work, and to remove a system and its elements is more work. We are starting to look at this process here, and we will definitely need to write our own scripts to manage group memberships. You need to discover all the elements of a system in order to put the whole device into a particular group, or take it out, which is a multi-step process.
Good luck with your project. - Joseph Poutre BNP Paribas -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Wednesday, January 09, 2013 9:25 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [spectrum] Dynamic group in ehealth On 09.01.2013 10:51, Alfonso Cabrera wrote: Hi, > Create a dinamic Global Collection in Spectrum and associate it to an > eHealth Discover Policy that also will be associated to an eHealth's > group, so the group will automatically updates with new devices added to the > GC. > ....but elements won't be removed from the group in case models disappear from the GC.
