If there's a new model type you may be able to fix that using the ./NewMM.pl script in the Installation/Post_Install

I believe delete and rediscover is the only way to update ALL attributes. For example if a device has been changed to a different model type the only way to fix that is to delete and rediscover. Have you tried the update commands? VNMSH command format is: ./update action=<action_id> mh=<model_handle> Example action_ids: 0x1000e - Reconfigure a model. Equivalent to right-click->'Reconfiguration'->'Reconfigure Model' 0x1d0001 - Discover Connections. Equivalent to right-click->'Reconfiguration'->'Discover Connections' 0x230013 - Equivalent to right-click->'Reconfiguration'->'Rediscover SNMP MIBs' 0x100f0 - Equivalent to right-click->'Reconfiguration'->'Rename Interface Models' 0x1011f - Equivalent to right-click->'Reconfiguration'->'ReevaluateModel Names' Hope that helps. I recently discovered that when we change a device for another device, e.g. a Cisco 2811 with a Cisco 2911 and run rediscover snmp mib and then reconfigure devices all the attributes are not updated. I have to delete the old device and then discover the new device to get all the attributes updated. My colleagues have changed a lot of devices without following this procedure. So I have to find out which devices they have changed the past 10 months and delte them and dicover all of them as new. This is a rather big job :-( Is there a way to force Spectrum to update all the attributes on all the devices in spectrum without deleting them and discovering them as new devices?
