We've set this up through the Policy Manager.
The conditions are if the port has this attribute greater than 0, then we set
the GeneratePortStatusAlarms (0x12a54) to True. Otherwise, set it to False.
Here is the search criteria:
<policy-search-criteria name="User Port Search">
<and>
<attr-match match-type="equal-to" id="0x12a79" value="0" />
<attr-match match-type="equal-to" id="0x11ee8" value="15" />
<attr-match match-type="not-equal-to" id="0x1134c" value="23" />
<attr-match match-type="not-equal-to" id="0x1134c" value="18" />
</and>
</policy-search-criteria>
<policy-search-criteria name="Non User Port Search">

Subject: [spectrum] Link Up/Down trap customization
I hope someone can help me guide thru this. I am on 9.2.2.9.123/Linux 5.8.
Here is what I need to do: Flapping interfaces Link Up/Down traps creates
alarms in OC, I am to limit that alarming by first checking of a attribute on
port. So for example we know based on link up/down traps 220001/2-220006/7 we
create the alarm. Before creating that alarm I need to check for an attribute
0x12a79 on port and if value is not ZERO, then create alarm, otherwise not.
Thanks much in advance.
Regards,
AA Syed
