Hi,

You can write your own script based on the ones that CA provides with the
defaults for SSH and TELNET. You can copy those and use it.

As for the Enable password, you can set an attribute on the device, if I
remember correctly it should be 'NCM_Enable_Pw_Disabled (0x12e68)' so that the
use of enable password is not enforced. I think there is also an attribute at
device family level that is doing the same thing. I don't remember exactly if
it's the same attribute. If you filter the attributes by 'enable' you'll see
exactly what I'm talking about.

You should create your own device family and set the attributes for
communication with the device accordingly.

I use the sysObjectID attribute for identifying the correct devices to be
members of the device family.

Subject: [spectrum] NCM Config - Script

Hi,

I need to backup the config of devices not supported by CA. Please let me know
how to fetch the configuration of the devices, which doesn't have enable
password. Does anyone have scripts for my need or any suggestions.

Thanks,
Kavi
