modem_run opens a usb endpoint to check it get the activation command and then closes it once its done (or does it just exit). If it goes down cleanly surely modem_run could try and open it again if it was run a second time to see if anything was running? > > If i were you, I would get back the old modem_run running Alex, just in > case... > > PS : the message error was : > Apr 9 01:36:51 leloo kernel: usb_control/bulk_msg: timeout > Apr 9 01:37:06 leloo kernel: usbdevfs: USBDEVFS_BULK failed dev 2 ep 0x7 len 106 >ret -110 It seems stable enough for the time being, the USB rarely dies gracefully anyway so I always reboot when the link goes down (its a router so it doesn't matter, apart from hurting my pride :-) > -- > Edouard Gomez > > > Liste de diffusion modem ALCATEL SpeedTouch USB > Pour se désinscrire : mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?subject=unsubscribe > > -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.bennee.com/~alex/ Liste de diffusion modem ALCATEL SpeedTouch USB Pour se désinscrire : mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?subject=unsubscribe
