i've found redhat pretty much a breeze to update using the up2date facility. i dont think theres much need to upgrade to a whole new distribution (i.e. 7.2 -> 7.3) if you've got up2date running regularly. i *believe* that recent versions of up2date will even upgrade the kernel altho i havent tested this personally having been burned by this in the past (easy enough to sort out tho by booting with a boot disk).
