Well, you'd follow the steps I talked about in the email I sent to the list just before the answer to yours. It is about the speedtouch, static IP and Mandrake 9. It starts in French but as said at the beginning, the English explanations are at its end. Remember however, that this has only been proven to work in my conditions which are :
Speedtouch USB ADSL modem (green one) Bridged Connection (RFC1483) Static IP Mandrake 9.0 The distribution shouldn't impact much, but the others are the conditions I had and for which I found a solution. If yours is different, keep asking questions with a bit more details regarding your setup, people will be able to answer. And look around, even in the ECI USB modems world, I found part of the ideas in there too.
