Yes, I can certainly write code, well, browse it even :P, but firmware and hardware I'm pretty clueless, but willing to give it a try. Even if I get a new modem for the time being, it would be an interesting thing to play with and give me something to do! So, pointers to this sort of thing could be helpful.
