Greetings,

 A fresh user of speedtouch driver, fresh set of problems.

 What I get are disconnections during uploads. Seems crazy? Read on.

 Modem can run for hours & hours as far as I restrain to downloading.
 Once I try any upload >10KBpsec, sooner or later I get:

 May 29 14:51:52 magi kernel: usb-uhci.c: interrupt, status 3, frame# 839
 May 29 14:51:52 magi kernel: usbdevfs: USBDEVFS_CONTROL failed dev 2 rqt 192 rq 18
len 1 ret -84
 May 29 14:51:52 magi kernel: hub.c: already running port 2 disabled by hub (EMI?),
re-enabling...

 A few seconds later pppd dies, due to lcp timeout. The only thing that helps
 is disconnecting the modem and connecting it back.

 I've tried:

  * using uhci.o instead of usb-uhci.o: same behaviour (I can say that
    disconnect comes even faster :) with:

        May 29 14:42:30 magi kernel: uhci.c: e000: host system error, PCI problems?
        May 29 14:42:30 magi kernel: uhci.c: e000: host controller halted. very bad

  * using the line+modem under windows XP (on other box) - works like a charm
    with uploads;
  * using the line+modem on other box with my Linux - also works without problems;
  * decreasing the latency for USB hub - even to 0 - didn't help.

 I was not able to run tests on the same hardware with other OS - mostly
because I do not have them installed :)

 Judging from the behaviour, I guess it can be some hardware problem with my
 box. It's quite old K6-2 350 machine, with MVP3 chipset. What's more
important, during boot I get messages like:

May 29 14:49:14 magi kernel: PCI: Found IRQ 11 for device 00:07.2
May 29 14:49:14 magi kernel: IRQ routing conflict for 00:07.2, have irq 10, want irq 11

 If anyone can help me in debugging this, I'd be very grateful.
