Hi, I've setup my Speedtouch330 (silver version) accordingly to the description at: http://www.linux-usb.org/SpeedTouch/LFS/index.html
but during the linux boot process both leds stay off and thus I get the error message "device not found". Only when I manually replug the modem the light start flashing and the hotplug finishes loading the firmware. Before that I can't even see that device when doing # cat /proc/bus/usb/devices I've built my 2.6.11.8 kernel manually. Can you point out some possible reasons for such behavior, I mean the modem not being detected unless manually replugged?
