After affirming that my gearbox is definitely a 3-rail and my spare a single rail, I wrote to a number of places for quotes on a rebuilt unit and and overhaul kit. Rimmer Bros came back with very good quotes. I am wondering how many people have attempted their own overhaul. How hard is it. Also, what is people's experience with Rimmer's products.
