Also, it's unlikely that HAARP will just be running constantly... they have
to run off a generator up there. The process for going live involves
trucking in diesel fuel!

Imagine trying to run that thing off renewable energy... perhaps stringing
the antennas between a huge array of wind turbines with industrial strength
deicers? :D
