A 3-credit graduate course in sports nutrition, HDFN 526:
Nutrition for Fitness and Performance, is offered online fall 2002 by Montana
State University-Bozeman. This science-based course is dynamic and engaging.
Online, asynchronous discussions integrate nutrition with fitness, exercise
metabolism, and human performance. Assignments are adaptable to lesson plans,
classroom activities, and client consultations. Students evaluate a dietary
supplement for their course project.
Resources include a text, nutrition software, study guide,
scientific literature, current news, and Internet sources. Class size is limited
to 25 students.
