Dear All, Any contribution or an alternative to the following PIV Spring Test procedure, to improve the operation will be appreciated.
Post Indicator Valve (PIV) Spring Test (Annually) PIV's should be operated annually, through its full range and returned to its normal position. PIV's should be opened until spring or torsion is felt in the rod, indicating that the rod has not become detached from the valve.
