Reza: 1 - You can put as many sprinklers on a grid that you can hydraulically prove. You can put as many on a tree as you can hydraulically prove.
2 - I am not sure I understand you here. You aren't required to place sprinklers directly on the main. It is may not be a good idea because you likely have to sprig the head. 3 - Pipe sizing is based on hydraulic calculations. The mains may or may not be the same size. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Reza Esmaeili Sent: Sunday, September 09, 2007 2:51 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Sprinkler Gridded Systems Hi! I have some questions about sprinkler gridded systems, thanks for your attention in advance. 1- Is there any limitation in number of sprinklers to place on each branch of a wet pipe sprinkler gridded system? Can I put 25 sprinklers on each branch while I am hydraulically calculate the most remote area? 2- In gridded systems, there are sprinklers on one of the cross main, am I allowed if I don't place sprinklers on none of the cross mains? (No sprinkles on cross mains) 3- Do both cross mains have the same size? Thanks, Reza --------------------------------- Need a vacation? Get great deals to amazing places on Yahoo!
