Dave,
I have never experienced any failures. This topic has brought up a question. Is the addition of these 1/2" or 3/4" brass extensions approved and in compliance with any NFPA standard? How do you calculate friction loss through these extensions? How many extensions can be applied to one sprinkler? Any comments? Thanks, Ed Cyr Alpha Fire Sprinkler Corp. Trying to get the name of the manufacture of these items. It is NOT stamped on them. So far we see two manufactures possible for the extensions. United Brass Works and K&K Screw Products. They are almost identical looking parts except one has more threads than the other. Anyone having any knowledge on how to identify who makes these items?? I would appreciate any input and hearing from anyone who has experienced any failures with these parts.
