Subject: National Fire Academy Project - Need Details for Water Tank, Plan
view of Pump, FDC Detail at Street or wall

We need some AutoCad 2000 detail help. Sprinkler plans are being assembled
for the new plan review class for the National Fire Academy.

The bulk of the design is completed but we are missing some details.
Others have submitted details and they were awesome and saved a lot of time.
If you have any of the following, it would be appreciated.

15,000 Gallon Water Tank Details
I believe the tank will be located outside but an underground could be an
option as well. Plan views and elevation views.
Tank fill valve details.
Tank Foundation

Fire Department Connection Detail
The FDC will be located at the street or wall and run into the building's
basement.

Fire Pump Room Plan view
The room size is 6 X 12. Plus I will fit in 3 risers (wet system, dry
system, and standpipe).

I could also use some hydraulic calculation help. The calcs are taken to
the standpipe.
Size the fire pump
Calcs for the standpipes
5th Floor - 4 head residential calc
4th Floor - LH Standard Spray (9 heads)
3rd Floor - LH Standard Spray 6 head (QR Reduction) They also want a
preaction system to be included. This would be a good floor.
2nd Floor - Extended Coverage and looped cross main.
1st Floor - 4 Remote Areas - OH GR1 Kitchen, LH Restaurant, and OH GR2
Retail (ECOH heads), and draft stop water curtain. I currently have the
cross main looped, but I got an indication from an instructor not to loop
the cross main so hand calculations can be completed.
Basement - Parking Garage - Dry pipe system

Plan Review - I think it would also be a good idea for someone to review the
plans and find the mistakes I am not aware of yet. I worked on the plans
under delirium. Ha!

Thank you,

Tom Wellen
