I have been notifiied by our local fire marshall that the city council is going to be doing a review of previously passed fire sprinkler ordinances. Essentially these ordinances were amendments of the IBC that were very sprinkler friendly. A group of people lead by a code consultant expert is leading the charge to rescind these. Does anyone have any ideas of resources that I can put in our Fire Marshalls hands to help him in this battle? We must win this one as we are well into the process of looking at a residential ordinance as well. Thanks for your thoughts / ideas.
