Paul, where are you getting the Large Drop rules from? I haven't come across anything in 13, or the manufacturer's data that says Large Drop systems are dry?
How would I increase the remote area when the data sheet calls for 15 heads to be calced.? Calc. 21 instead of 15? Again, even 12.1.6.3 says "The requirements of 12.1.6 shall not apply where it can be demonstrated that the detection system that activates the preaction system causes water to be discharged from sprinklers as quickly as the discharge from a wet pipe system" Isn't this the basic assumption with a single-interlock preaction system?
