Solid pile to 24' assuming pallets at each level. But seriously pallets
(assuming wood) or not how would that change the class? Yes plastic would
jump 1 or 2. Would still start with the class of commodity then add 1 or 2
unless listed. Yeah, the empty pallets are a whole other concern. But we
all know every customer says "no empty pallets we're in the whatever
business" not the pallet business.

What I was concerned about was an unusually burning characteristic other
than "normal food". Seems most food is class III. Freeze it and it drops a
class which eludes me. I was actually surprised to see syrup in metal at
class 1. Although most food in metal is class 1. Apparently we don't get a
pool fire from a ruptured food liquid container. But margarine or vegetable
oil class III would be a problem.

I've certainly been known to over analyze things.

Perhaps I should do some more fire testing at the fire pit this weekend? I
can compare to ETOH. Stop by if you want to see.

Class for honey in steel drums is the question?
