I'm walking through an existing apartment building which is being renovated, including a 13R system. The two stairways have full access to the roof with a man door at the top. There is a door between the second floor and the stairway to the roof. Would this space (the stairway) need to be sprinklered? I'm not sure if access to the roof on a potentially burning building would be considered an egress.
