That was kind of my thought, but since the spaces are not going to be heated 
and dry heads are out of the question due to geometry, the battle begins.

It sounds like it's inside the building and not a specifically exempt
space (like an attic) so yes, it needs sprinklering. It is not egress
but it is roof access for the FD.
