If your using food grade additive it should be allowed down the sewer (NOT
STORM) drainage for treatment at the sewage disposal facility. If it's not a
food grade, ask your local State Hazardous materials office, or dept of
health.

Subject: Disposal of propylene glycol, glycerin, etc.

Does anyone know of the proper, approved procedure for disposal of propylene
glycol or glycerin in fire sprinkler systems?
For example, if you need to re-charge an anti-freeze loop, how should the
existing anti-freeze in the system be disposed?
Thank you.
