ESFR sprinklers are not a density/area sprinkler. They have to operate at a given minimum pressure regardless if they are spaced at 80 sq ft or 100 sq ft.
Check the data sheets for your particular sprinkler. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Brian Harris Sent: Tuesday, November 17, 2009 2:41 PM To: [email protected] Subject: ESFR Heads in Calc's Forum, I don't have allot of experience dealing with ESFR heads and am doing some calc's for a warehouse we are designing. The question I have is where do I get the density for these heads to plug into the calc's. For this particular job I am using Table 16.2.3.1 on page 150 (07 edition) Max. storage = 25 ft'., max. ceiling = 40 ft'. I'm using a Viking VK510 (k25.2) head. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
