TESTS I haven't noted this for awhile, so it is probably time for my periodic request to avoid "test" on the sprinklerForum to see if your message is going through. Not picking on anyone in particular, but understand this.....
a test message goes to about 700 people; a response noting the test worked goes to about 700 people; a second "got it, its working" response goes to about 700 people; in this scenario, 2100 messages have been sent using computer processing time, using Internet bandwidth and sending messages that are not productive for subscribers to the SprinklerForum. If you are receiving messages from the Forum, the Forum will likely accept messages from you. If you post a message to the Forum and it doesn't go through, contact tech support. (Look at the bottom of each SprinklerForum message and you will see the email address for technical assistance on the Forum: [email protected] ) NON-TECHNICAL MESSAGES The SprinklerForum is designed to be a service to those seeking technical/design/layout information on fire sprinklers. Occasionally subscribers will veer from the "technical path" and post non-germain or personal messages. We tend to be somewhat forgiving about this unless it gets out of hand - except in the case of negative personal comments or overt commercial solicitations, which will get you unsubscribed muy pronto. But PLEASE, keep the non-technical chatter to a minimum since it fills mailboxes with unneeded, unwanted email. UNSUBSCRIBE Post a "please unsubscribe me" message to the SprinklerForum is, well, worthless. Follow the rules for unsubscribing that were sent to you when you subscribe, or in a pinch, look at the bottom of each and every Forum message and you will seen instructions for unsubscribing.
